About Uwe Bauer
Uwe
Bauer’s “sterling” career designing his unique sterling silver jewelry spans
more than three decades. A native of Germany, he began the art of jewelry making
in 1968, soon after he immigrated to the United States and settled in New York
City. Years of selling jewelry at flea markets and craft shows in New York, New
Jersey and Pennsylvania followed until Uwe and his new bride Margaret
established The Silver Shoppe in Collegeville, Pa. in 1972. The Bauer’s moved to
the their present day location in Sanatoga, Pa. seven years later.

From Reading
Take Rte 422 East to the Armand Hammer Exit in Pottstown.
At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and turn left at the next light.
Go to the third traffic light and turn right. (Pottstown Memorial Medical
Center).
The Silver Shoppe is located on the right about 1/8 mile past the third traffic
light
(Pleasantview Rd intersection).
From King of Prussia
Take Rte 422 WEST to the Sanatoga Exit in Pottstown. At the end of the exit ramp, go straight to the second traffic light and turn left onto E. High Street. Proceed one mile to the Silver Shoppe on the left.
From Allentown
Take Rte 100 South to Rte 422 East (King of Prussia). Follow the
directions from Reading.
From West Chester
Take Rte 100 North to 422 East (King of Prussia). Follow the
directions from Reading.
